Maple empowers asset managers called Pool Delegates to originate and manage loans, bringing real-world underwriting expertise into the decentralized world. Operating across Ethereum and Solana, and trusted by borrowers like Orthogonal Trading and Portofino, Maple has become a reliable platform for both institutional and DeFi-native lenders. By prioritizing transparency, risk management, and capital efficiency, it’s helping to redefine the role of credit in the onchain economy.

Maple offers both a robust lending protocol and a newer Cash Management Pool. Its lending platform connects users to institutional credit opportunities with an emphasis on compliance and security. The Cash Management Pool caters to DAOs and crypto-native treasuries looking for conservative yield strategies with shorter durations.

The Challenge

Maple Finance has ambitious goals for the future of onchain credit. And with that ambition comes complexity. To build a platform that meets institutional standards without sacrificing DeFi-native efficiency, Maple needed to address several key challenges:

1. Meeting institutional security standards across all wallet infrastructure. With institutions utilizing their platform, Maple required a partner with proven security practices. The infrastructure had to protect sensitive financial operations at scale and meet the high bar expected by traditional financial entities.
2. Aligning with regulatory obligations and compliance. As a regulated onchain credit platform, Maple needed to tightly control who could access its services. This included restricting usage to compliant users and jurisdictions, while maintaining full transparency across every transaction.
3. Providing a simple and familiar onboarding and login experience. Maple wanted institutional users to access its platform with the same ease and familiarity as any standard web app. That meant keeping the Maple brand front and center, while removing friction related to wallets and crypto UX.

2. Social Login Authentication and Headless UI: To make it easy for anyone to access Maple’s platform, Dynamic gave Maple’s users the ability to create wallets with only a Google account. Additionally, Maple took advantage of Dynamic’s headless UI, allowing them to showcase their own brand identity and keep Dynamic in the background.
3. Dynamic’s Fraud Protection Toolset: Dynamic’s toolset includes invisible CAPTCHA, session controls, wallet and IP blocking, and compliance-aligned access restrictions.
